This is a community Event at the Good hope Fire Station to raise awareness of the Drug and Alcohol overdose issues. There will be a panel of experts that will give an update on the Drug issues and there will be a time for questions. There will also be vendors and other non Profit organizations in the recovery field where you can get answers to your questions. Please come out and be educated.

The 5K for Freedom is the first walk/run in Mechanicsburg to educate families about the signs and dangers of substance misuse and the many resources available to assist struggling families. Our school club, (5k for Freedom: Break the Silence) at Cumberland Valley High School will be hosting this event. We are very excited to begin raising awareness and funds for this rapidly growing epidemic. The 5k for Freedom will take place at Cumberland Valley High School on Saturday, September 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 6746 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
